Caffeine is an alkaloid extracted mainly from coffee beans and leaves. It has a high capacity to cross the skin barrier and a high biological activity as an antioxidant and as an anti-cellulite-body fat reducer.
As an antioxidant it fights free radicals generated by external aggressions while as an anti-cellulite reducer it prevents the accumulation of excessive fat in the cell by inhibiting phosphodiesterase activity and stimulating the degradation of fats during the lipolysis process.
Caffeine inhibits 5-a-reductase activity, which in turn helps to increase blood microcirculation in the skin and also stimulates hair growth. It also has a protective action against UV radiation, reducing skin photoaging.
L-Carnitine promotes the degradation of triglycerides in the mitochondria, cellular organelles in charge of this function, by means of a cellular transport effect of the fatty acids to the mitochondrial matrix for their combustion.
This increases the metabolism and elimination of fats, achieving an anti-cellulite and reducing effect.
On the other hand, L-Carnitine achieves a powerful antifibrotic activity in the skin, achieving remarkable results in the treatment of stretch marks and superficial scars.
Forskolin increases cellular levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). Elevated levels of cAMP enhance lipolysis by increasing the utilization of body fat, increase the basal metabolic rate and promote the development of muscle mass. On the other hand, Forskolin enhances the effect of other compounds thus achieving a very significant fat reduction.
Fucus is a seaweed rich in polysaccharides and polyphenols (natural antioxidants) widely used for its richness in trace elements and minerals such as iodine, iron and calcium.

Ruscus extract has anti-inflammatory, soothing, astringent, circulatory and vasoconstrictive properties due to its content of steroidal saponosides.
